These packages include 4 nights of lodging and 3 days guided fishing. Your guide, meals for 3 days, bait, tackle and fish processing are all included in the package. The price does not include South Dakota sales tax of 5%, beverages, or your fishing license. Fishing licenses are available at the lodge but it would be more convenient for you to acquire them prior to arriving at Sunset Lodge. You may apply for you fishing license online at the South Dakota Game, Fish and Parks website and click on the Licenses and Reservations Link.

A $200.00 deposit per person is required to confirm your guided fishing package. Should you need to cancel your reservation, you must do so 30 days prior to your arrival. Your deposit will be credited for use later within the same calendar year.

Your fishing day starts with a hearty breakfast in our lounge. After breakfast, we gather at the Bait Shop to meet with your individual guide. A sack lunch is carried on board - bring your own refreshments. After completing a full day of fishing, you and your guide will return to the Bait Shop for photographs. While your guide is cleaning and packaging your fish, a general "fishing story" session takes place in the Kan't Fish Bar. In the evening, you have the option of our Steakhouse preparing some of your fresh Walleye, in place of our planned meal.

LAKE SHARPE
Information
:

Lake Sharpe flows for 80 miles from the Capital City of Pierre to the Big Bend Dam at Fort Thompson. With its fairly narrow channel, this reservoir more closely resembles a river, and it consistently provides solid numbers of walleye, sauger, catfish and even some trout.

North of Big Bend Dam, the river makes a large, loose curve, nearly creating a full circle. This "Big Bend" is responsible for the dams name. Explorers Lewis and Clark were aware of the bend when they came up the Missouri River in 1804.
